Abstract

Chikungunya infection is a generalised viral infection. There is no specific antiviral drug available to treat this infection. This infection needs supportive and symptomatic treatment. Analgesics, antipyretics and fluid supplementation are important aspects in managing this infection. Further, treatment and future action require on the subject are presented in common man’s language since every one needs to understand this.
